Women’s Ministries at Atonement

  • Teaching and encouraging women to love God and to love others.
  • Fostering discipleship of women through formal studies together as well as informal discipling of younger women by the older women.
  • Sharing times togther to encourage and strengthen one another in applying the ways of God in our unique roles as women.
  • Upholding the sanctity of life through celebrations of birth and/or adoption as well as through celebrations of the sanctity of marriage.

 

Current Programs for Women

WMF (Women’s Missionary Federation) Bible Study and Luncheon:  WMF meets every third Friday of the month at 10:30am in the church foyer in support of our denomination's missionary wives, as well as for Bible study and prayer, followed by a potluck luncheon and fellowship time.

WOW (Women Of the Word) Bible Study:  Women Of the Word is a weekly self-study of the New Testament Book of John held at 1:00 on Tuesday afternoons in Room 2 downstairs at the church.  Please join us!

Titus 2 Mother's Group: This newly formed group meets for the purposes of instruction, fellowship, accountability, food, and fun!  The get-togethers are held on the first Thursday of each month at the Impola home, meeting from 10am to Noon.  Childcare and lunch are provided at no cost to you.  Questions?  Call Annette Impola, or,  if you'd like to carpool from the church, call Barb Long.

SPECIAL NOTE ON THIS STUDY: 

The final meeting for the season will take place on Tues., May 25th at Lila's home as a potluck, with the Monday night and Tuesday afternoon groups meeting together.  If you need more information, please contact Lila.

The Recipe Box - A new section that was just added to the website is the "Recipe Box".  This is a place to share your favorite recipe with the other families in the congregation!  Encourage others to submit recipes as well!  The link is on the left in the menu bar under Women's Ministries.
