Does God exist?
What about evolution?
Was Darwin right?
Do dating methods prove the earth is millions of years old?
Does any real scientist believe in creation?
What about dinosaurs?
Are you ready with answers? Don't miss the awesome opportunity to hear Dr Robert W. Carter at Atonement on September 26th at the 8:30am and 11am services and inbetween at 9:45am Sunday School!
Dr Carter was converted to Christ at an early age, but did not know what to do with the theory of evolution. He always knew what he wanted to believe, but had no way to express what he was thinking and no evidence to support his views. In his freshman year of college, he was exposed to the

Rally Day marks the beginning of the new Sunday School year! This also brings a schedule change to the Sunday services. 8:30am First Service, 9:45am Sunday School for all ages, 11:00am Second Service. We kick off the fall schedule with a church family picnic and softball at Church Creek Park in Stanwood after the Second Service on September 12th. Plan for things to get underway around 1pm. Bring a dish to pass for the potluck meal. Paperware and beverages are provided. Bring softball or other sports equipment you'd like to use. Often there is softball, volleyball, basketball and other random games that are played in addition to an extensive playground area for kids and woods with trails to explore. Invite a friend or another family for the day!

For years, Vancouver, BC has hosted a Missions Fest that has drawn crowds of over 20,000 for the weekend. Just a few years ago, a commitee was formed to host a Missions Fest Seattle! Much prayer, planning and time has gone into each of these first few years events. This is a great opportunity for us to join in and participate in this powerful Mission-centered event.
Missions Fest Seattle is a Friday evening and Saturday made up of large group sessions and small workshop opportunities. The topics, geographical locations, mission issues, generational timeframes cover the entire spectrum of what God is doing all around the world!
Speakers, ministries and missionaries from all over the world come together and invest much in this brief event. It is important for us to join in as well in what is God's heart for a broken and lost world! Plan now to participate in this year's Missions Fest Seattle, the first weekend of October!

Sunday, October 11th, there was a mini "Ministry Fair" at Atonement at 10am! Following our recent study on Spiritual Gifts, this was a special opportunity to see the variety of ways that ones can plug in and serve as a member of the team! If you missed it, ask Pastor for the ministry list and survey! It is specially formatted to line up with spiritual gifts! Don't miss this awesome opportunity! God made us to all work together as a body and we will only be effective if we follow His design! Don't miss it!
